The City of Sarasota has streamlined the process for reporting municipal issues through a newly developed mobile application.

This app allows residents to report various concerns, including potholes, broken sidewalks, fallen tree limbs, and malfunctioning parking meters, among others. Submissions are directed to relevant city departments, such as Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Utilities, Risk Management, Homeless Services, Parking, and Code Compliance. Additionally, users are encouraged to attach photographs and specify the physical location of the issue, enhancing the ability of staff to address concerns effectively.

Upon submission, the app ensures that requests are forwarded to the appropriate departments, where they will be managed during standard business hours. Users can expect email updates on the status of their reports or may visit the app to track progress. Once an issue has been resolved, it is marked as closed, providing clarity and transparency in the resolution process.
